2011 USASA Nationals Invite

Due to her multiple First Place finishes in the Giant Slalom, Slalom, Halfpipe, Slopestyle and Boardercross events, Bailey was qualified for the 2011 USASA National Championships.

Top ranking Snowboarders from coast to coast were invited to compete in a week long event of snowboard competitions at the 22nd Annual United States of America Snowboard Association (USASA) National Championships in Colorado on April 1-8, 2011. Riders must first qualify in one of 36 USASA Regional Series. Snowboarders can then compete in five events at Copper Mountain Resort; Giant Slalom, Slalom, Halfpipe, Slopestyle and Boardercross.

The USASA Nationals is the largest snowboarding event in the world. The Association is dedicated to supporting recreational and competitive snowboarding throughout the USA. Since 1988, USASA has fostered the competitive spirit of snowboard athletes and developed a solid grassroots organization that allows men and women, and boys and girls of all ages and abilities to participate in over 400 organized snowboard events that qualify for national and international competition.

Bailey Duran holds her ’2nd PLACE NATIONAL CHAMPION’ plaque that was awarded to her during the Overall Awards Ceremony at the 2011 USASA National competition at Copper Mt, Colorado. Her division is Ruggie Girl (7 and under).
