Bailey was running at about 10% power and heart all day. She fell in an icy section at the top of the hill on her first run for the day in a BX-like whoop section on the 4th bump, right on her rump. She then spent all of practice in the lodge getting examined, iced and encouraged by many friends. With only 10 minutes left before the event started she decided to compete without any practice runs. At the top of the course we learned that practice had been extended and Bailey got two practice runs in. She wanted nothing to do with boxes and barely rolled the jumps.
